OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY

I'm a heritage stone carver. What that means is that I carve both replica monuments and new monuments influenced heavily by the work of medieval stonecarvers.

I'm based in Angus, next door to a sandstone quarry at Denfind Stone which has resurrected the Angus stone industry- an industry that sent Angus sandstone all over the world.

 

When it comes to creating memorial monuments, I only hand carve unique monuments. Part of the process of creating a memorial for me includes meeting the family and learning as much as possible about the person being commemorated. I want to carve outstanding stone monuments that celebrate the life lived.
